Our Centre Director
Rebecca Murphy is our Centre Director at Cool Bananas Childcare & Preschool! Rebecca is an Early Childhood Teacher, holds a Bachelor of Education Degree, and has been with us since we became Cool Bananas in 2013!
With a strong background in Early Childhood, having previously been Room Leader of a Preschool Room for many years, Rebecca is passionate about providing high quality education and warm, caring environments to our children and families at Cool Bananas.
Rebecca is the first point of contact for all our existing and new families, and is fantastic in managing the smooth and professional running of our Cool Bananas centre!
Our Educators & Staff are carefully selected for their level of competence, qualifications, skills, experience & their genuine commitment to providing the highest possible quality of care for children at our centre. Staff show a commitment to high quality childcare which values and supports the principals of the Quality Improvement Accreditation System and Code of Ethics of the Australian Early Childhood Association.
All of our Room Leaders have or are currently studying towards gaining their Diploma in Children’s Service or hold a Bachelor in Early Childhood Teaching. All Room Assistants have or are studying to gain their Diploma or Certificate III in Children’s Services. ￼
They regularly participate in in-service training and are required to hold a current First Aid Certificate including Asthma Management and Management of Anaphylaxis. Our Educators show a commitment to high quality childcare which values and supports the principals of the National Quality Framework and the code of Ethics of the Australian Early Childhood Association.
￼Our educators all have current Working With Children checks prior to commencing employment with us. Our team are highly qualified childcare professionals. We consider ourselves as educators and dedicate our training to help children in our care to grow and develop through play. We pride ourselves on our level of supervision, offering higher staff ratios than what is required under the Children’s Services Regulations.
